What we do and why we do it.
Firstly, to explain what we do in a nutshell. Well, we buy small,
struggling web hosting companies that have basically had enough
of the work and pressure that can be associated with running a web
hosting business. Very often, as the client base of a hosting company
starts to build, the time needed to maintain (technically and adminisration
wise) the customers becomes greater and greater, and soon, it is
no longer possible to have a full time job, and run a web hosting
business - there's just not enough money in it to make that sort
of intense commitment worthwhile.
So DesperateHosts.com has been set up, for the sole purpose of
providing those struggling businesses a means to escape from the
pressure and workload. However, it's not just an escape, it is an
escape that rewards the hard work put in by the starter of the business.
DesperateHosts will evaluate, analyse and put create a financial
estimate as to what the hosting company is worth. We will then make
an offer to the seller, the offer will be a cash offer, a one off.
The seller will be required to sign legally binding documents to
ensure that the seller will not in fact go and start a new hosting
company and maybe poach their old customers back again - effectively
a 'Restraint of Trade' agreement which will be binding for between
12 and 18 months. |
